DC Power Socket

DC power jacks, also known as DC power connectors or DC power sockets

A DC power jack, also known as a DC power connector, is a component used for connecting a power source to an electronic device. It is a circular connector with an inner pin that carries the positive voltage and an outer ring that is grounded. DC power jacks are commonly used in a variety of electronic devices, such as laptops, power banks, routers, and cameras, among others.

DC power jacks come in different sizes and configurations, with the most common being the 2.0mm barrel connector. This type of connector has a 2.0mm inner pin and measures approximately 5.5mm in diameter. The 2.0mm barrel connector is widely used in portable electronic devices, and it is compatible with a range of AC-DC adapters and power supplies.

One of the advantages of using a DC power jack is its reliability. Since the voltage and current are supplied through a dedicated connector, it eliminates the risk of accidentally unplugging or disconnecting the power source. Also, DC power jacks are designed to withstand frequent use, making them a reliable and durable solution for powering electronic devices.
