Unlike mini tact switches, the LED is factory-centered to eliminate hot spots, providing a clean, even glow through keycaps or panel overlays. And with a rated lifetime of long cycles, it’s built to outlast the product it’s installed in.

Silver-plated phosphor bronze contacts are rated for 500,000 make-and-break operations. We test random samples from every production batch for contact resistance drift and LED intensity decay.

FAQ 

Q: Can this switch be used for an on/off power button?

A: This is a momentary switch – it returns to its original position when released. For a latching on/off function, please see our self-locking illuminated switch series.


Q: How bright is the LED? Is it visible in daylight?

A: The blue LED is clearly visible in normal office lighting. For outdoor direct-sunlight applications, we recommend a different LED configuration – contact us.
